There are few people who can decide to move-down to the Costa Rica picture perfect house as exotic bungalow that is surrounded by the lush palm trees as well as facing beautiful beach. Some others can also see themselves having home ownership in Costa Rica in cattle ranch hacienda. Others will prefer more and more “civilized” choice, and will settle for the home ownership in Costa Rica near major city. No matter whatever your want is, whether it sounds very familiar to mention, and whether it is totally different, you will find for sure at Costa Rica area.

Costa Rica is divided into seven provinces – San Jose, Alaiuela, Cartago, heredia, Limon, Guanacaste and Puntarenas. First four provinces are highly populated. Alaiuela’s climatic conditions are warmer and pleasant. Cartago is cooler than San Jose and has rural settings. Heredia consists of many old-fashioned towns with mountains all around providing excellent surroundings favorite homes. Last three of the provinces have a beach an added feature and the biggest advantage. However, the three has a very different type of geographical setup. There are cattle ranches in Guanacaste. Puntarenas caters one of the main ports and is the longest province. Limon provides Caribbean African type of surroundings. The housing assets have lots of variations, since beachfront houses are lot more costly as in comparison to others. (more…)

Zelaya to Set Deadline for Mediation in Costa Rica

Ousted President Manuel Zelaya will announce a 72-hour deadline for resolving the political conflict in Honduras when mediation efforts resume in Costa Rica July 18, Eduardo Enrique Reina, his newly appointed ambassador to the U.S., said today.

“If there is no resolution, then President Zelaya will take other actions,” Reina, a former vice minister of foreign relations and Zelaya’s private secretary, told reporters at a press conference in Washington.

Zelaya was expelled by the military on June 28 for allegedly violating the constitution and has been conducting shuttle diplomacy between the capitals of Central America and the U.S. to maintain international support for his return to office. (more…)
