Blood Donations Urgently Needed
Saturday, January 2nd, 2010The Banco de Sangre (Blood Bank) is making an urgent call for donations. The Blood Bank says it receives on average 120 donations daily, less than half of the need of between 200 and 250 donations daily to meet the demand.
Donations can be made at the Banco de Sangre en Zapote, conveniently located near the Zapote Fair grounds, as well as clinics and hospitals.
Donations will only be accepted from those 18 to 60 years of age and weigh over 50 kilograms.
