State buildings would not resist a large earthquake
February 8th, 2012 | by admin |In the event of major earthquake in Costa Rica, state infrastructure built prior to the 1970s would be most affected. According to experts these older schools, health centers, roads and bridges could collapse after a major earthquake as they have outlived their useful life and do not meet current seismic codes.
