Uribe speaks against drug legalization

Former president of Colombia, Alvaro Uribe spoke on Thursday in Costa Rica against efforts to legalize narcotics. According to Uribe it is easier to combat the current problem of drug use than to open the door to free consumption in the world. Cited as evidence is the estimate that there are only 300 million drug users and fewer addicts among a worldwide population of 7 billion.
