HELP STREET DOGS IN COSTA RICA

By volunteering in Costa Rica, you’ll become a part of a more beautiful experience beyond comparison of any other you’ve ever had. As a volunteer, you’ll get the opportunity to be a part of the environment and take home more than just a certificate of completion. With the peoples’ loving nature, it is evident that the people naturally have the desire to help. Every country has some stray dogs and cats wandering the streets. In Costa Rica, we offer many opportunities to do something for these animals.

There are many non-profit organizations that contribute to finding stray animals, as well as abused domesticated animals, which collaborate to find animals new homes and better opportunities. One thing I’d especially like to share is that about once a month, these organizations get together to call people out onto the streets of San Jose to feed street dogs. Here I have listed a few organizations that make a difference for the pets in Costa Rica. You can help them out by checking their pages on Facebook, and seeing what kind of things they need donated. They also post pictures of all the pets they need homes or help for, and it is always helpful if you take the extra second to hit the “Share” button and help spread the word.
