Free SMS Text Messaging Via Internet To Any Cellular Phone in Costa Rica.
The online edition of the daily Spanish language newspaper La Nación is now offering a free text messaging service to any cellular telephone in Costa Rica from anywhere in the world via the internet.
To send an SMS (text) message, you need to access the pages of La Nación at www.nacion.com and scroll down to middle of the page where you will find the header “SMS GRATIS” or you can click here for the English sign up page and here to sign in.
Users will be asked to enter the cellular number and the message to a maximum of 110 characters.
La Nación, however, asks all users to register before being able to use the service. Registration to La Nación is free.
